Hey Chick- get it now while you can!!!

Last week I posted a hen and baby chicks and some have asked for directions.  Here is a photo and I will try to make it understandable. By the way I want to give Candy Michael full credit for this adorable design.  Thanks Candy. My stamp campers loved it last weekend.

Below is a drawing that may help.

Size is 5"x7.5" and free hand the hen (after you make the pattern fold a 12x12 piece of designer paper in 1/2 and cut out hen) use the rest of the 12x12 for a layer on the 3x3 cards

Strip of window sheet 6"x3/4"  staple on the inside on each end
Punches:
*Tree Builder branches for the waddle and comb in real red
Glue behind the head so they both show from the front
*Blossom Builder largest flower petal for wing with coordinating DSP or card stock of your choice
*Hand cut a triangle for beak and color a pearl with sharpie for eye
*The button was from my retired stash of buttons

* Cut two 3"x6" white cards and   fold in half
* Layer a 2.75" x 2.75" crumb cake or your color choice for next            layer
* Layer 2.5" x2.5" designer paper from your left over paper from when you cut the hen out
* Stamp one of the chicks on an angle on a 1.5/8" stitched square
add color to the chick on the beak and waddle (real red and                 pumpkin pie markers)
* Hang the 3x3 cards over the window sheet inside the hen

*Holder that did not work so well for me
White card stock 2"x 2.5" on 2.5" side score at .50" and 1.50"
Cut grass from the Basket Builder Framelit Dies #143228
or you could use the fringe scissors (I used Old Olive Card Stock        2"x2.5" for grass)

I hope this helps you create wonderful chicks..  You still have time to order the FREE Hey Chicks stamp set when you order $50 from the Stampin' UP! catalogs by Friday 3/31/17.  Contact me if you have any questions.

Occasions and SAB Sneak Peek

One of the things I love about being a Stampin' UP! Demonstrator is that when we go to a conference we get new product early and can start making samples. Today I have been working on a couple of samples to show at my upcoming vendor fairs and classes.  I love this little FREE stamp set from the Sale a Bration catalog Hey, Chick.  I have family members that raise chickens so I knew I had to have this set to send them cute tags and cards through out the year.

If you are not familiar with Stampin' UP!'s annual Sale a Bration (SAB) promotion you are going to love it and you are going to want to book a party and have your friends over to stamp with you and see and play with the new products first.

SAB starts January 4th and end March 31st During that time frame when you order $50 from the Occasions catalog or the annual catalog or either through my website or through me you get a free item from the SAB catalog. For instance if you order:
$50= 1 free item
$100= 2 free items
$150= 3 free items (And so on.)
Wait there is more; Hostesses that have a party of $250 or more they get the usual rewards plus and extra $25 so it is a win win.  You can also gather orders and not have an in home party. I will be having face book parties soon so watch for that.

Still more; if you sign up to be a demonstrator whether you want to be a hobby demonstrator and get your discount every day or if you want to make a business of it I encourage you to sign up during this time frame of SAB when you get 2 EXTRA FREE stamp sets that is an added value of up to $104 (bundles and kits are excluded from the free stamp sets) plus at the regular cost of the kit of $99 for $125 in free products of their choice plus catalogs and order forms etc.  If your wish list is already at $100 why wouldn’t you sign up? OR Sign up Dec first and get some of those new products in your starter kit.  You will have till April 30 to make your first quota, if it is not for you then what have you lost?  Nothing to lose, you get the kit and products at a discount you keep the kit have fun with your new products.  I would love to have you on my team.  I have a FB team group that is a lot of fun where we share ideas and I offer training. We have virtual team meetings and if you live close to me we have local team meetings where we gather and stamp together and have fun together.   You do not have to live in my area to sign up with me.  I have team members in several states and I am a phone call or email away.  Contact me for more information. PS THE FIRST PERSON TO SIGN UP WITH ME WILL RECEIVE THIS NEW STAMP SET FROM THE NEW OCCASIONS CATALOG. wagstamps@yahoo.com

Since I went to the On Stage conference in Atlanta I got several stamp sets free, this one I got from the prize patrol and was able to pre-order other products when I got home.  The stamp set below is called Nailed It.

Today I have been working on samples to show my customers from the new catalog.

For some reason I thought of the Jar of Love would work great. I remember my dad putting nails and screws in jars and stored in the garage.  Fond memories.

This is the sample board for the Nailed It stamp set along with others in the Urban Underground Suite.
