NC SU DEMO BLOG HOP - A LITTLE SOMETHING

Welcome to the October edition of the NC Demos Blog Hop! I love our theme for this month 'A Little Something.'  It promises to be a fun and creative challenge. It's always exciting to see what other demonstrators come up with beyond just a single card. The possibilities are endless when it comes to creating sets of cards, tags, decor pieces, gift card holders, and more. I'm sure you will be pleased with my fellow demonstrators in our blog hop will have some fantastic projects to share.

You may have come from  Laurie Meier's blog and saw her amazing project, don't forget to hop along to Tina's blog as well as the rest of our group for more fun.

For my hop project this month I am offering fall home decor using card stock to make pumpkins and also a treat envelope.

For my pumpkins I cut out 24 circles with a 2-3/8 circle punch. (I used 2 sheets of 8.5x11 pumpkin pie card stock.

Then I scored them in half and folded them and glued them to each other.

I forgot to take a photo with the curly (vine part I think) :)

Here is the pumpkin with all the parts.

After gluing them together it ends up being a circle shape I cut a leaf punch with the Autumn leaves dies #162185 in Old Olive card stock #100702 and cut a 1x 5 inch piece of Early Espresso card stock #119686 and crunched it up in my hand and then smoothed out and rolled up for the stem then hot glued the stem into the middle of the pumpkin

I added the pumpkin to my foyer table where I have projects I have made in the past using my Stampin' UP! products. I love to share ideas that are more than cards. Last year I made the little FALL project that is plaid paper in an embroidery hoop.  That was fun too.  The spooky jar was an old jar I added the vinyl that Stampin' UP! used to sell a while back.

Below are cute envelopes I made for treats for my Bunco group last week.  I used the retired envelope punch board.

I decided to add the pumpkin and treat envelope on my table!

Another view!

Thank you for stopping by my blog and make sure to check out the rest of our fabulous group that shares every month on the last Sunday of the month at 8pm.

On another note I am excited that my son Chris and grandson Jacob visited us from New Hampshire last week.  Chris redesigned my business cards and added qr codes on the back for getting to my website to order and or to join my team.  I love it.  I added the black background to see it better for my blog.

NC Demos May 2023 Blog Hop - New Kids On The Block

Welcome to this month NC Demo Blog Hop! My name is Frances Wagner and so glad you are here.  If you didn't see Laurie Meier blog before me, make sure to go back and see what fun ideas she has for you. Thank you for stopping by to see what we are featuring new products from the new 2023-24 catalog. (The New Kids On The Block)

I am in love with that fun Zany Zoo Bundle.  So cute.  The cards below are what I call "single sided note cards"  They are quick and easy and fun.  I have made this style of card for a lot of years, sometimes we just have a stamp set that really lends itself to this fun style.  These would make fun children and adult cards alike and makes you smile when they receive them.  Just enough space to add a sweet note.

Recipe:

Basic White card stock - 4x5.25

Base color layer: 4.25 x 5.50

Stamp image in either bottom corner, color in if needed & stamp sentiment at the top

Next the fun part just dots lines or squiggles.  If you are unsure try that part on scratch paper.

Next check out   Kelly Taranto

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to click below for the rest of the hop to see what the others have for you.

I can't believe I forgot to send this out from April!

35 YEARS

This year is the 35th year Anniversary for Stampin' UP!  Typically they have a convention to celebrate!  This year they are doing it a little different.  They are going to 35 different places to celebrate with demos around the world.  I was blessed to partner with MaryKate Scott to offer this event to our "Sunshine Su Demo Group" (from Florida) and thrilled to be chosen for one of the home office visits.  We had so much fun, starting out with 15 of us gathering for dinner and games and get to know you time in MaryKate's home on Friday night.  Cori Hancock from the home office came to be with us.

We played a game called "SPEED STAMPING" that I learned at leadership conference last summer in New Orleans.   What fun!  These were the results of 4 people stamping on each card.  It's sort of like speed dating except you switch cards each time.  Fun team game for sure.  I'm sorry I didn't get everyone in the photos with their cards.

This was our Friday night group!  They came all the way from Tallahassee and across the state to be with us.

These are the admin from our Sunshine Su Demo group for demos that live in Florida either full time or 6 months of the year.  We gather on a regular basis to share ideas and training. .  Above is Kari Reese, Lisa Brennan, MaryKate Scott and me on Friday night.

Next day we meet at Lakewood Ranch for our event.  We had over 60 to attend and what a fun day.  We stamped together and heard from Cori about upcoming happenings at Stampin' UP!  It is always good to be with fellow demonstrators.

This is our group for Saturday.

MaryKate Scott, Cori Hancock and Me

We had a stamping table for you to walk over to stamp at your convenience.

These were my table mates for the day.

We had an awesome time getting to know each other and share ideas.

Since it was a 3 hour drive home we stayed with MK one more night along with my team members and friends; Sue Karwecki, CC Watrous, Laurie Wilber; me and MaryKate

Last but not least a fun pic of me in MK's car.

If you live in Florida and you are Stampin' UP! demonstrator be sure to contact me to join
fun our FB group.

New Year's resolution: Stampin' UP! year starts with new catalog so for this coming year my plan is to blog more often.  I love to share with you all.
