Sassy Stampers Meet Up Group

A fellow demonstrator Karel Standish and I have started a meetup group called Sassy Stampers.

This is the banner I created using My Digital Studio on the meetup site.

We meet every 2nd Monday at 7pm at Aversboro Coffee Shop in Garner.  We also have classes there.  You may not have heard of Meetup Groups, ours is a group of paper crafters that like to meet and create and have a good time.  We share what we love, card making, scrapbooking and other paper crafts having to do with rubberstamping. Go to http://www.meetup.com/Sassy-Stampers/ now and sign up for a fun time. You can pick and choose what you want to attend after you sign up to be a member of the group.

File:2-Di...

This Tuesday night 6/26/12 we are having our Stampin Bunco night.  If you like to play Bunco and like to stamp then this is for you.  If you have never played bunco or never heard of it I assure you that it is a fun fun fun dice game.  We need 12 players to play, everyone pays $12.50 to play and when we find out who the winners are the prizes range from $5-$40.  The best part is you choose your own prize from the new Stampin Up catalog and pay the shipping and tax on your prize. You also get to make a cute card before we start playing.

As an added incentive to get more players I am offering a free stamp set from my retired stash.  You can pick which one you want when you arrive at Aversboro Coffee Shop.

Shoot me an email if you want to join us at Aversboro Coffee shop for Stampin Bunco on Tues.

Thanks for stopping by.

Stamp Club Ideas

Last week for stamp club I used the card I shared with you last time and the one below. I love sharing new products with them so they can get their hands on them. I saw this project on page 192 but it looks like they used it on a note pad but I turned it into a card.

Below is the cards my M-9 Stamp Club made.  After cutting the Oval Accent piece they cut them in half and shared them with a partner. We used scraps from my scrap box to cut flowers and alphabet letters.  It was fun to watch them create and trying to decide whether to use their own initial or the recipients initial.

Supplies used:
Summer Smooches DSP, Oval Accent Bigz Clear Die, Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack, Brads and I did use the retired Timeless Junior Aplabet (I have just ordered the new one)

Oval Accent Bigz Clear Die
Price: $21.95
DOTS, DOTS AND MORE DOTS
This is one of the cards we made in my Dots, Dots, and more dots class last week.

Apothecary Accents Framelits Dies
Price: $24.95
Aviary - Clear-Mount Stamp Set - by Stampin' Up!
Aviary - Clear-Mount Stamp
Price: $17.95
From My Heart Clear-Mount Stamp Set
At this class I had one of the door prize winners from a vendor fair this spring and after we did a couple of the dots, dots and more dots projects we used the products she got free in her door prize basket.  Here is a card she created.
I can not remember the set but it was a retired set.  We added a little dazzling diamonds and it made the card sparkle.  Silvana really liked the end results.  Sign up for one of my classes or email me for a one on one class to get the basics.

Thanks for stopping by.

The New Stampin' Up! Catalog Is Here!

Can you believe it?  I love the new catalog and it went live today!

 Stampin' Supplies List

Have you seen the new foam ink pads?  As a demonstrator I got the opportunity to pre-order some supplies and I love the new ink pads. It only takes a light tap to produce a nice crisp coverage on both solid and line stamps.  You will especially love it on solid stamps.  The pads are juicier and there is no dip in the middle as we sometimes notice in the older pads. I know you are going to love them as much as I do.
