Hello December - Project Life/Stampin' UP!

Last week at my workshop with Barb C. I showed them my Project Life Scrapbook I have started for documenting December.  It is so easy I can't wait to snap some cute pictures this year.  I used previous years pics at the workshop to show them what it would look like.
Check out the video and make sure to order soon, these products are in the 2014 Holiday Supplement while supplies last. I have already purchased a couple for presents.  I love the new Cherry Album #135834 and the Hello December PL Card Collection #135831 and the Hello December PL Accessory Pack #135833 and of course the 6x8 photo pocket pages #135297 so you can just drop in those photos and cards to make a quick page.
I love it when old friends meet at my events!  Here is Gilda and Penny who have known each other for a while but never get to see each other.  What a fun time they had catching up.

Thank you Barb for a fun Sunday afternoon with our friends.  Thanks for stopping by!
Let me know if you would like to gather your friends for a fun stamping afternoon.

You still have time to sign up for my Holiday Stamp Camp next weekend. Contact me today to hold your place.

Case of a Case!

Do you know what a CASE is?  (Copy and share everything) For paper crafters it is when you see a card or other project and it is your jumping off place, you either make it just like the one you saw or most times, you add to it and or change it to make it your style etc.

This week Terri Tank a demo from New York posted on her website this cute cat card.  You can view her blog here!  I met Terri in 1999 (actually we have never met in person, she was overseas and I lived in California when she contacted me to help her mother order Stampin' UP! products for Christmas)  We have kept in contact all these years with both of us moving all over the country in different directions.  This is what I love about my Stampin' UP! business I meet the nicest people and I would have never met before.  This is Terri's cute card.

Well Terri "CASED"  her card from Michelle Zindorf you can find her here!
Michelle is known for her fabulous cards using ink and sponging. I am sure she may have a special name for her techniques but they are truly beautiful.  Here is her cat card.
Aren't they both adorable?  Well I make cards for my vet and I am not a cat person and my latest pet stamp set is retired so I don't have this set.  But I did have a retired set called Cool Kid and I cut out the ovals for the body and I stamped the cats and cut out the heads.  Well it looked like a 1st grader may have cut them out. I was so disappointed that I did not get the results I wanted.  So their cards were my jumping off place- I used the small oval punch and the banner punch and drew the eyes, nose and whiskers on. Just thought I would share the process.  :)

Thanks for stopping by!

Stampin' UP! brings me new friends far and wide!

Last year one of my customers found me on line and she ordered from me and we have exchanged emails a few times. The neat part about this is Hilde is from Switzerland and she vacations here in Florida. This week we finally met when she came to my tag class.

I was so excited to meet her I almost forgot to take a picture till she was leaving and I did not get a picture of Bonnie and Penny. We loved Hilde's accent, we all had the very best time.

Look what she brought me! Swiss Chocolates! What a friend. Yummmmmm

Here are the tags we made. They were quick to make for the most part and so cute. I hope you will sign up for one of my classes and join us in all the fun.
