As you can see I have been playing with MDS again, I love that program.  I will be adding this little logo to my post for the next couple of weeks to remind you to add to the order and get a chance to win the hostess benefits.  Good time to add to your stash of goodies and try some new products from the two new catalogs.

I am going to be offering this for the next few months.  For those of you that in another city than me this is a great way to earn free products without having a party.  Are you thinking of your Christmas cards yet?

Here's how to play:

For every $35 order you place you get ONE ENTRY, submit it ONLINE using
HOSTESS CODE UZVYF9D9
OR EMAIL me your order and I will submit it for you! (So place a $70 order and get 2 ENTRIES)  [NOTE: if you want your order to arrive quickly, place your order (using the hostess code) ONLINE, if you submit an order through email to me your order won’t be submitted until the end date of this contest and will arrive approx. 7-10 days later

You MUST enter the Hostess Code to be entered into the drawing, no exceptions.

Contest runs from NOW and ENDS MONDAY , August 26 at NOON EST!

This is a snapshoot of my Stampin' UP! Website and what you will be looking for. Let me know if you have any questions.

I had a few cards to make for my friends this week. This one is a birthday card and I cased it from the catalog for some parts and added my own spin. The catalog is a great jumping off place for you to get your creative juices flowing.  You never know where you will end up.

This is a card for a sweet friend that lost a loved one.  I wanted something cheerful for her in her days ahead.

Hostess Gift

We were invited to dinner this weekend and needed a little hostess gift.  One of my new favorite things is Mrs. Meyer's Lavender liquid hand soap and cleaning products.  I have been telling my friend about the hand soap and decided to give her a bottle to try for a gift.  I mean hand soap how corny is that?  Well since it was sort of not the normal ie. bottle of wine or chocolates etc.,  I decided to gussy up the presentation (that is what it is all about right?)  I used a white lunch bag and sponged circles on the bag with Early Express ink on our daubers; then took the beautiful blue tissue paper from My Paper Pumpkin and wrapped the bottle of soap and put all that in the lunch bag and tied some raffia around it and folded over the top part and sort of poofed the tissue out like a flower on top.

I added the little tag by stamping her initial with the Morning Post Alphabet stamp set on whisper white and back with a pool party circle.  She liked both the soap and the presentation.

Don't forget to use your creative side today.

MoJo Monday- MOJO304

This is my first try at MOJO Monday challenges.  I know it didn't come till Saturday but I am working on timing thing ok.  :)  While at the Stampin' UP! convention my room mates Karel Standish and Debbie Green and a new demo from Maryland, Michelle Humphrey and her sister Chris and I challenged each other to enter some weekly online challenges to help us grow in our creativeness. So here is my first stab at it.  Below is the sketch we went by. You can play along too. I promise to post mine earlier next week.

Yes I know they are there because I have the same thing but I am working on them.   :)

Let me know if you like my wagstamps dog signature line, leave me a message on here by Monday 8/5/13 by 9am and I will draw a name and send blog candy to one lucky winner.

Check out the New Holiday Catalog !

I was crazy about the new Card Thinlits when I saw them demonstrated at the Stampin' UP! convention last month.  This will be on my first order this month, we got to see samples and demos on how to use these fabulous new Card Thinlits.  The hard part is choosing which style to get first?

Our amazing new Thinlits Card Dies cut and score to create a card that flips in just one step.
Item Description Price
133479 Label Card Thinlits Die $32.95 us/$40.95 can
133480 Circle Card Thinlits Die $32.95 us/$40.95 can

These new card dies come with extra die pieces that have versatile designs, so you can use them on other projects, not just for flip cards. (The Circle Card Thinlits Die comes with 10 total pieces; the Label Card Thinlits Die comes with nine total pieces.)
With the number of dies you’re getting, plus the die that creates the card itself, the price is a great value—especially to create an interactive card!
  • The main shape in the cards (circle and label) can work with a lot of our stamp images so you can create tons of different kinds of cards using many different stamp sets. Here are just a few suggestions to get you started:
Label Card Thinlits Die (item 133479):
  • Happy Day Stamp Set (item 130294 W item 130297 C)
Circle Card Thinlits Die (item 133480):
  • Worth the Wait Stamp (item 131094 W)
  • Five-Way Flower Stamp (item 131088 W)
Both card dies pair well with:
  • Oh, Hello Stamp Set (item 131931 W item 130733 C)
  • Yippee-Skippee! Stamp Set (item 131341 W item 131344 C)
  • Really Good Greetings Stamp Set (item 130330 W item 130333 C)
  • Regarding Dahlias Stamp Set (item 130324 W item 130327 C)
  • These dies also work well with our new magnetic platform (item 130658) so you can place dies exactly where you want them.
Check them out on this just released video!!!
