NC Demos August Blog Hop & Happy 21st (Stamp-aversary)

Welcome to the NC Demo Blog Hop for August.

My name is Frances Wagner and I am from Vero Beach, FL but an original member of NC SU Demo group. I love doing this blog hop with my NC SU Demo friends, they are so talented.

If you are hopping along with us you just came from Jo Anne Hewins blog where I know you loved her project.  Our theme this month is "Scenic View!" projects.  I love the possibilities, I have used the Waterfront card before on my blog with a calendar easel card here but decided to step it up a bit.

I used the Waterfront stamp set along with the Timeless Tropical stamp sets together.

Below is a peek on the inside.

Below a picture of the full inside.

Do you ever open one of your stamp sets and find a stamp missing?  Well that is what happened to me today.  I can't find the sun stamp so I punched a circle with a retired punch an sponged the sun on the paper.  That worked, I bet the sun stamp is in another stamp set,  I may have used the last time I stamped with it.  At least it was a circle and easy to duplicate.  :)

New sun image sponged on card stock.

Happy Stamp-aversary to ME!!
August 31, 1999 was the day I signed up to be a
Stampin’ UP! Demonstrator. I joined to get the discount and never thought about having a team and I have never looked back or never regretted it. It is so much more than selling stamps, it is the relationships and friendships between my customers and team members. I cherish both groups of women that have come into my life and I would have never known most of them if it wasn’t for this little business.
For a thank you in honor of my 21st Anniversary, between now and August 31, 2020 at midnight, I am rewarding all of my online orders ($50 or more) with free Stampin’ Blends!!!
For every $50 you spend (pre tax and shipping, and after you use any Bonus Days Coupons), I will send you a pair of Stampin’ Blends of your choice.
  • All orders MUST use the Host Code 3SC3F4YV. Even if your order is over $150, you must use the host code.
  • NOTE ABOUT HOST CODES: to use host code after you put YOUR first item in your cart view your cart and it should have a space for you to add the host code towards the bottom (you will see a + sign and add there and apply then continue with your shopping. You can also do it at the end instead if you want to. It may look different depending on what device you are using to place your order on.

  • Please email me wagstamps@yahoo.com as soon as you place your order with which color(s) you want. (at the time of this post, all the new In Color markers as well as Old Olive are on back order until the September 21.)

On Stage - Team Gifts

Last week I met 17 members of my team in Orlando for the 30th year celebration for Stampin' UP! On Stage conference.  We had so much fun and learned a lot and got to see the new Spring Occasions catalog as well as the Sale a Bration catalog that goes live January 3rd.  If you decide to join my team you can pre-order from in December 5th. There is so much to love in the new catalog.  I can't wait to share it with you.  Below are the team gifts I made for my team. It is a tradition to make room mate gifts.

Below is the outside packaging for the notebook I fancied up.  I used some wrapping paper that I purchased from Ikea last summer and and folded it and added a zigzag stitch along the sides and bottom.  Since we were in Orlando I thought they might like a Micky Mouse theme.  I used an old Mickey Mouse punch I have had for a while and glued it to the Buffalo tag I made. Before I started I printed there names with a Walt Disney Font and I love how it turned out.

This is the comlosition book I added a title to and used one of the witches hats from a Halloween set we have, then added circles to look like Mickey Mouse.

These are cut bag tags I made for my team. We always get bags and they all look alike so I thought it would be easier to find our own.  I also tucked our team names and cell numbers in the back of the tag in case they needed to find each other.

Stay tuned I will show you sample boards and other projects and team pictures in teh following week.  I would love to have you join me in April when you join my team.

Thanks for stopping by.

Florida WagStampers Team Retreat

The first weekend in November some of my team members from Florida and one from Pennsylvania  gathered in Daytona Beach for a retreat. What a blast we had getting to know each other and creating together.

Here we are seated Karen Patterson and Me; standing left to right is Joan, Queralt, Jess

We missed Joan because she had gone back in.

This is our all for one, one for all photo.  :)

We were playing around on the beach and taking photos of fun things.

This was a sharing our business time we later covered the composition books after they took notes.  We  laughed a lot and created a lot.  Fun times.

I could not resist having these sweet cookies made at a local bakery for the girls.

This was a wet bar area that was perfect with shelves and cabinets for us to store our stamping supplies.  It was like having our own stamp studio.

 The ocean views were wonderful!

This was only for 3 of us so you can imagine how much stuff we had for 5 of us.  :)

Join my team today and let the fun begin!  We play together and work together with stamp camps and play days etc.  JOIN NOW AT:   www.franceswagner.stampinup.net
