Case of a Case!

Do you know what a CASE is?  (Copy and share everything) For paper crafters it is when you see a card or other project and it is your jumping off place, you either make it just like the one you saw or most times, you add to it and or change it to make it your style etc.

This week Terri Tank a demo from New York posted on her website this cute cat card.  You can view her blog here!  I met Terri in 1999 (actually we have never met in person, she was overseas and I lived in California when she contacted me to help her mother order Stampin' UP! products for Christmas)  We have kept in contact all these years with both of us moving all over the country in different directions.  This is what I love about my Stampin' UP! business I meet the nicest people and I would have never met before.  This is Terri's cute card.

Well Terri "CASED"  her card from Michelle Zindorf you can find her here!
Michelle is known for her fabulous cards using ink and sponging. I am sure she may have a special name for her techniques but they are truly beautiful.  Here is her cat card.
Aren't they both adorable?  Well I make cards for my vet and I am not a cat person and my latest pet stamp set is retired so I don't have this set.  But I did have a retired set called Cool Kid and I cut out the ovals for the body and I stamped the cats and cut out the heads.  Well it looked like a 1st grader may have cut them out. I was so disappointed that I did not get the results I wanted.  So their cards were my jumping off place- I used the small oval punch and the banner punch and drew the eyes, nose and whiskers on. Just thought I would share the process.  :)

Thanks for stopping by!
