April Salvation Army Crop & Debbie Macomber

This weekend I went to the Salvation Army crop and had so much fun.

I started out on Friday setting up my table and one of my favorite things was the twig tree!

I have had a twig tree previously in my foyer in 2010.  I found it finally, I wanted to compare.

Below is the one that I made for my display this week, I was inspired by Becky Roberts who inspires me all the time.  I added the spring banner and everyone loved it.  Thanks Becky for your inspiration.  I wrapped the antique spool with our burlap ribbon and then tied a coastal cabana ruffled ribbon around it.  Punched out flowers and glued to each other and used glue dots to attach to twig.  My friend June loaned me to spool and picked up twigs for me.  What a friend.

My class was pocket card scrapbooking. Xio and Bonnie loved the quick and easy way to make the pocket cards.

Here is a sample!

My favorite card on the page is below.

On Saturday my friend June and I took a break from the crop and went to Debbie Macomber's book signing for her newest  book Blossom Street Brides.  Debbie is my favorite author, she is so down to earth.  What a fun day.

Here is a picture of my friend June with Debbie.

What a great weekend.
Thanks for stopping by!
