Merry Christmas & Sneak Peek ~Sweet Strawberry Bundle

Merry Christmas to each of you that come to my blog.  I appreciate your interest and support.   I have a sample below using the new Sweet Strawberry Bundle to share with you. 

What is your inspiration for your stamping projects? Last week my friend Penny Whittington stopped by to pick up her stamp order and she brought me some delicious fudge in this adorable cloth bag. When I saw the strawberries on front, I knew I had to pull out my new stamp set Sweet Strawberry plus new punch to coordinate. Sweet Strawberry Bundle #156214 $32.25

Below is the cloth bag with the fudge in it.  I love that she tied some of our ribbon around it for a festive touch. 

 

 

 

 I pulled out the colors that were in the bag to use for stamping. Night of Navy, Real Red, Garden Green, Very Vanilla

I added the small strawberry flowers and stamped those in Memento Black ink and colored in with the Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends Markers. The bottom strawberry I stamped on Very Vanilla card stock with Real Red ink and the top strawberry I stamped on Real Red card stock using Real Red ink. (to show the difference)

So what do you think?  I love how it came together.

Projects I have been working on.  This is a mini photo memory book I made for my mom's 90th birthday.

Inside 1st page a photo of my mom when she was 10 years old. The photo on the right is my mom an couple of years ago.

I added a photo on my great grandmother in one of the pockets behind the first photo.

 

 Next page was a flip down piece and the photos are of my grandmother holding Bme and my great aunt and uncle.  On the right was our family in our earlier years.

I hope this gives you some ideas of what type of mini memory book you can make for your loved ones.  It would be a fun Christmas gift to make.

I wanted to share a project with you that I made this past week from one of the Mosaic Gusseted Cellophane Bags.  A couple of weeks ago I was at an on line virtual class and we made some awesome projects.  The Mosaic Gusseted Cellopane Bags was a challenge from MaryKate Scott who was the host of the event.  She gave us these cello bags and challenged us to create something with them. This was my end project.  I think it is a sweet treat gift.  What do you think?

Do you ever shop for candy that matches your craft or treat project?  I took a sample of my Bumble Bee DSP to see if I could fine candy with a matching wrapper.  What do you think?  I think it was pretty close.
