Vacation Part 2

Oh my goodness I had this post in my draft section and forgot to send it. It is the rest of my May vacation.  I still wanted to share it with you. I had such a good time visiting my son Chris and grandson Jacob.

I got to watch Jacob at different events it brought back memories of when my boys were in sports and I was on the bleachers all the time.  It was  such a wonderful time in our lives.

I went with Jacob to his horseback ridding therapy. What a fun time. I have to admit horses intimidate me (they are so much larger than I am)  Jacob has to brush the horse he  rides Penny, before and after he rides and he cleans his hooves and at the end he feeds Penny.  Besides learning how to ride Jacob is learning the responsibility of having the privilege of ridding Penny.

Jacob rides inside and outside. I can remember when he could only ride inside and had several trainers around him when he rode. He is growing up.

 Outside

I even got to help brush Penny.

Fun times.  I will be scrapping these photos soon.

Thanks for stopping by.

We had a great time with our RED-y to Stamp Camp. Red was our theme..  You got an extra door prize ticket if you wore red, our projects we in red, some of our displays had red in them or valentines and we had a Hot Chocolate Bar with red on it.  Check out our next event and join the fun.

Here are some of our friends stamping and having fun.

More fun.

Hot Chocolate Bar- I forgot to take a photo with just that but you sort of get the idea.

We had 4 door prizes and each were wrapped like this (Penny took a photo  of her prize (the new water color pencils) - thanks Penny)

DISPLAYS-  Karen and I wanted to show our friends/customers and you that you can do more with stamps than just make cards or scrapbooks.  Do you see that adorable itty bitty banner?

Itty Bitty Banner- I just copied the idea from the New Occasions Catalog.

Another idea I cased from the catalog.  I love it, so did everyone else.

Cards we made..

I will post other ideas from our Stamp Camp soon. Thanks for stopping by!

Hostess Appreciation and Candy Bar

Did you ever choose candy by the wrapper? Well that is what I did today. I wanted to make a banner for the "Candy Bar" for snacks and could not decide what color scheme to use so I stopped cutting cardstock and went to the store. I knew I wanted Chocolate Chip as one of my colors and started looking at what was available for colors. It turned out blues won. So I hope you like my Foyer Table Vinnette. I always put something stamping related on it as per season so today I decided to use the Candy Bar instead. Remember if you are one of my hostesses last year you are invited Tues night 7pm. Floating- stamping- eating chocolate- door prizes fun fun fun.

MDS - Snow in Raleigh NC

It snowed today in Raleigh, we don't get a lot of snow so when it does we take advantage of it and play and eat snow cream and take lots of pictures.

My friend, Jessica and her family were playing in the snow and when I saw the pictures I knew I just had to scrapbook it for her. I used Stampin UP's "My Digital Studio". I made the snowman by using punches, I know that could use some tweaking but it was fun to create.

If you like to scrapbook but don't have a lot of time then this is for you. It will be a great gift to give someone that likes to scrapbook, someone that is not into the hands on paper and ink and glue and of course you can print it out on your own computer or you can have it sent back through my website and get a completed scrapbook in your mailbox in a matter of a couple of weeks.
