NC Demos October 2024 Blog Hop - Let's Get Scrappy!

Welcome to the October NC DEMO Blog Hop! We’re excited to share our creations with you on the last Sunday of each month, and we’re so glad you’re here to see what we’ve crafted. You may have just visited Jo Anne Hewins’s blog, and I’m sure she had a fantastic project for you. If not, be sure to check out her inspiring creations [HERE].

I don’t know about you, but I have tons of scraps I love to use instead of cutting fresh cardstock! I’ve saved plenty of strips from layering cards, and today, I’m putting them to good use.

 

This is my CLEAN AND SIMPLE CARD!

I love fall colors and the crisp air (when I lived in Raleigh) not so much crisp air here in Florida in October anyway.  

 

These are the steps below I used to make this fun card. 

 Supplies used: ink, spritzer filled with rubbing alcohol, dies, stamps, note cards and strip of Old Olive card stock,

 

I touched the ink pads top edge to the glass mat and then spritzed with rubbing alcohol (you can use water too but the alcohol dries quicker) Supplies used: ink, spritzer, dies, stamps, note cards and strip of Old Olive card stock,

 

 

 After you spritz the ink on your glass mat touch your basic white card stock to the ink and lift and touch again to get good coverage on the card stock.

 

 

After you get your desired color the cut your leaves out with the  dies.

 Stamp your sentiment towards to bottom and center the strip of Old Olive card stock and attach leaves using glue of choice.  It is a good way to use your strips of card stock when cutting for cards.  This is my scrap jar for narrow strips, I keep it handy on my desk. 

 

Of course for my larger pieces I keep them in a file folder in a 31 container.

NC Demos September 2024 Blog Hop – Hello Pumpkin

 

Welcome to this months blog hop all about pumpkins.  Fall is my favorite time of the year and living in Florida I do miss the cooler temperatures, PUMPKINS, and the beauty of the changing of the leaves.  (Not raking them so much however :) 

You may have hopped over from Jo Anne's blog she always has fun, creative projects for us.  If not don't forget to go back to check on her projects.  

 

My first project if a cutlery holder that was a sample in the new Mini Catalog on page 58.  It was made with Pocket Thoughts Dies, Caring Leaves stamp set and the Bee punch for the pumpkin.

 I think it will be a nice addition to my Thanksgiving table and I can change the decor for Christmas or whatever season I want to.  I got the video from Brenda Quintana on YouTube. Thank you Brenda.

My second project if a cute pumpkin card using the bee punch also.

My last project was a paper pumpkin box turned inside out and I added cute paper from the Little Latte DSP in my on line store and added this fun tag and ribbon. 

 

Last month I missed blogging with my friends and I had a milestone anniversary of 25 years with Stampin' UP! NC DEMOS JULY BLOG HOP

Welcome to our July Blog Hop!  You may have hopped over from  Toni Campana blog and I know she had something fun for you. 

Come Cool Off this July with the rest of our NC Demos Blog Hop demonstrators! This month's projects theme is beachy and feature light and cool colors.  I know you may not be thinking of Christmas quite yet but as demonstrators we think ahead with our classes and this past week I had my Christmas in July event.   I knew when I saw this month's theme I could use this card to share with you.  My Christmas in July event was so much fun.  If you live in the Vero Beach, FL I have a stamp camp each month the first Saturday from 10-2 contact me for more information.

I always love to make sure name tags and most of my customers save them and put on their bags they bring with their tools in.
