New Year's Project Life

I am in the process of working on a new blog header so for the time being I am using my old stand by.  So with that said my samples today are from my NEW Stampin Bingo group on FB.  These were my prizes from last night. We play each Tuesday night at 8pm. Contact me if you want to be on the list.

Hello December - Project Life/Stampin' UP!

Last week at my workshop with Barb C. I showed them my Project Life Scrapbook I have started for documenting December.  It is so easy I can't wait to snap some cute pictures this year.  I used previous years pics at the workshop to show them what it would look like.

I love it when old friends meet at my events!  Here is Gilda and Penny who have known each other for a while but never get to see each other.  What a fun time they had catching up.

Pocket Card Scraps

At recent Salvation Army Crops I saw many of the girls there are using "Project Life" systems for their quick and easy scrapbooking.  So I thought how could I use this with my Stampin' UP! products.  I started looking at my designer paper and  matching cardstock and knew I could do this. 

I did purchase the plastic page protectors (not sure if that is the official name) from the Project Life group since that is what the women I scrap with use.  I am sure there are may be different shapes but the ones I saw them use was 12x12 pages with the top row -  2 across (4x6),  middle row - 4 across (3x4), and bottom row 2 across (4x6) So it was easy to cut a 12x12 piece in half and then by 4's and then by 3's.

One of my inspirations came from one of our international demos Paulin Pauli, that demoed at convention last summer.  I liked her style and when I came home I looked her up and every once in a while I go to her website and see what she is up too.  I used Paulin's samples for inspiration for the samples below.   Check out Paulin's site here!

Here are a couple of pages I made this weekend from last weekend's fun times when we had out of town guest.

Marilyn and I thought our shirts looked like Easter eggs. We didn't pay attention till we took pictures.  :(

You can use all sections for pictures, journaling, memorabilia or whatever you want. Just mix and match to suit yourself.

After I started creating pages and cutting up dsp I saw that Connie Collins from the 2013–14 Artisan Design Team created this and wow it is so beautiful.  It is on www.Stampinup.com  Here are a couple of pictures of her project.  Check it out girls the sky is the limit. 

I am offering a class using the pocket cards and cut outs next month at the April Salvation Army Crop so if you go to it be sure to sign up in advance so I can order your designer paper for you.
