NC Demos December 2025 Blog Hop - Bling On 2026

Welcome to the December edition of the NC Demos Blog Hop! We are so glad you are here! This month our theme is Bling It On!  

 

I thought I would share this fun New Years card.  I looked through my stash and found some Silver Glimmer paper which was perfect for the bling part.  I love night of navy and silver together, so I thought they would be a great combo for my New Year's Card. 

 

Just another angle for my card leaning against my old coffee pot that I have had forever.  This is the last of my holiday photos.  I will be putting everything away tomorrow.  

When do you take your tree down and put other Christmas decor away?  For us it varies depending on when we put it up.  This year we were a little late.  Today I mentioned to my husband since we have not turned the tree lights on since Christmas day I would like to take it all down tomorrow.  (he agreed)

On Stage - Savannah

Leaving for Savannah today! I will come home with the 2017-2018 catalog and get to pre-order some of the new goodies. Yippee  I can not wait.  I have been busy with some presents for my team that I will show you later after they get delivered.

On Stage is a Stampin' UP! conference that we have twice a year around the world.  If the On Stage Live is in another country then we have several here in the US and when it is close enough I try to go. This year is the most exciting for me. I have 10 of my team members meeting me there from Florida, Pennsylvania and North Carolina.  I have one of my team members going to the Richmond ON Stage (since she lives 30 min away from the event).   Join my team and go with us next year!  Ask me for details. 

This year has been amazing, my team have been growing and sharing what they love and promoting  and it is exciting to see them grow and earn new titles.  God blesses this little business of mine each day and brings so many wonderful people into my life.

Yesterday I got a call from one of my customers at an assisted living home about the present I left for her and she was so sweet.  We had discussed our April class would be favors for a luncheon she was having for her friends.  I realized I didn't have time for a class with preparing for my trip this week so I asked her if I could just make them for her and she said yes.  She made me smile when I got off the phone with her, she said she loved the favors and no on had done anything like that for her in a long time.  WOW that brings tears to my eyes.  I am going to make some more fun projects with her when I get back.  Here is the simple Hershey Bar I covered with Succulents Garden's paper.     The flower is just scallops wrinkled up and misted and layered.

This week I had my first class of the year at The Brennity (a retirement community) and what a fun time we had.  Meet Evi on the left and Debbie on the right. They loved their cards and were so excited. That is the very best part about my job (HA! did I say job?)  It's fun, fun, fun when you see someone experience what you love and they love it too.

The first card they made was using the Dragonfly Dreams Stamp set and Detailed Dragonfly thinlits. Which also has a bee on it.  They loved stamping the envelopes too.
