April NC SU Demo Blog Hop- Mom's the Word

This month we are celebrating Mother's Day by sharing projects that celebrate our mothers, sisters, daughters, grandmothers, aunts and/or any of the other special women who have made an impact on our lives. Nothing says MOM like an apron.

This was one of my cards at our April Stamp Camp.  Everyone loved it.

I got this cute idea for aprons from Jennifer Hill, an over the top creative Stampin' UP! demonstrator from Gainesville, FL.  I used these adorable aprons for name tags for stamp camp earlier this month.

The banner below has aprons on it too.

These are my team members that live in the area along with Linda from Virginia that was visiting.
From Left to right: Karen Patterson, Joan Hartshorn, Faith Epp, ME, Linda Pierce, Bonnie Hughes

Below is my friend June Sullivan working on her projects.

Carolyn Pollmeier and Betty Sicard making cards.  We always have a great time together.

  1. Frances, I love your card and the apron name tags are simply adorable. Thank you for sharing the pics from your team meeting. It looks like you had a wonderful time!

    1. Thanks Tracie, a couple of my Florida team members live over an hour away so I have been having a team meeting before stamp camp so they don't have to travel twice a month. They are so much fun.

  2. Love your card. It 's also fun to see your stamping friends.

    1. Thank you Kathy. I didn't take as many photos as usual but I do like to highlight my stamping friends on my blog when they come to my events.

  3. Frances, I love the idea of the aprons for name tags, what a great idea! I think they would also be fun to use as a banner. I just purchased this set so I can't wait to play with it. Thanks for sharing youridea :)

    1. Toni did you see the Welcome banner with aprons on each end. I love that we were on the same page. Tip on the scissors I cut them out in silver card stock and used a permanent marker to color the handles.

  4. Frances - Your projects are always so inspiring! I love your card, and the name tags are awesome! Now, I know I really need to get the bundle... :) - Laurie Meier
