Chicks - gifts ~ Weekly Deals ~ New Catalogs

Recently I started volunteering at the Women Refuge Resale Store. (Women's Refuge of Vero Beach)
The Women's Refuge provides a Christ-Centered residential program and community counseling center for people who are serious about getting well.  I felt it was a great cause and wanted to help out.

While there I found these cute hand towels!

When I saw these I knew I had to have them because my sister Carol and Elizabeth my son's girlfriend both raise chickens and I knew they would love these towels.

 I wrapped them in dress patterns!  I love the look.  A friend of mine received a present wrapped in patterned tissue paper and I loved the idea so much I started looking at yard sales for old unused, uncut patterns and this is a flashback of dress styles from ummm I am not sure maybe the 1960's. 

 This is the package when I finished. 

I added this little card, for the chick I punched out from the bird punch and then slipped the punched piece in again and cut the back end of the chick to look more like a chick than a bird.

I hope you liked my fun present as much as Carol & Elizabeth did.

I will get a sneak peak this Thursday and I can't wait.  I am in the process of ordering catalogs for the new year, if you ordered $50 or more from me since last June 1, 2014 I will be be purchasing one for you. If you did not and want one let me know by sending me a message and if you are not in my area in the US I will send you a pay pal invoice for 6.00 to cover postage to you or send me a check.  If you live in the Vero Beach area I will have them for you at the end of May.
