Inspirations!

Pretty Lamp Shade

When I went to the convention last month we went on a tour of the home office and I saw a lamp in the Legacy room with flower punches on it and I loved it.  So that inspired me to make my own sample of it.  I want to let my friends and customers know that Stampin' UP! is much more than cards, not that I don't love my cards but I also love cute home decor'.

For this flower I used the fancy Flower Punch and the Floral Fusion Sizzlits Die and glue dots to connect them all together and to the shade.  I hope this will inspire you to create sometime pretty.   Send me a picture of something you have created using our punches and dies and I will post it for you and give you credit.  :)

Fancy Flower Punch  118073
Price: $16.95
Punches are a quick and easy way to add interest, dimension, and color to your cards, tags, and scrapbook pages. You can glue punched shapes directly onto your projects or layer a sheet of card stock that has been punched over a coordinating card stock for a reverse effect. The large cutting surface of our punches give you better punching leverage and cutting precision, and the sleeker body makes it easy to store.

* Adds interest to scrapbook pages and cards

Train Case Storage

My friend June has an Vintage Booth at a local shop and she takes those old train cases we had in the '60s  (or maybe your mother or grandmother had them) She paints them and shabby chics them and resells them.
I was inspired by her and wanted to do something to use for a display.  This train case started out being a medium blue I know you have seen them.  I spray painted several coats of white paint on the outside, ripped out the inside lining and relined it with some of the Stampin'UP! fabric I had left over, added ribbons and ripped fabric on the handle and made a flower with big shot dies and added red rick rack around the top.  I love the way it turned out.  I used it last weekend to store my retired stamps in to sell at a crop I went to.  Everyone liked it.
