Sweet Evi

I have a customer that lives in an assisted living home. Evi lives in the part where she has her own apartment so she can do just as much in life as I can. She is adorable. We meet each month in her conference or craft room in the main building to stamp together.  I met Evi at a vendor fair at the home and we just clicked.  We talked about classes and she wanted to sign up right away for my classes.  Sometimes others come, sometimes they don't, so since she is my main participant we collaborate on what projects we do together. She loves to have her friends over for lunches and we do a lot of treat holders and cards. Lately we have been making projects to frame. This were this months projects.  She really liked the HELLO Eclipse framed piece.

This was her August project- Don't you love the way she decorates the outside of her door.  I really enjoy working with Evi. I get as much pleasure teaching Evi as she does taking the class.  It is a special time for me each month.

Here are some other posts about Evi. HERE

Thanks for stopping by and I will continue to share Evi's projects with you each month.  If you want to attend one of my classes if you live in the Vero Beach area just email me and we can arrange it.

December Classes

Dec  4th (Thursday) - Christmas card making class

Rockridge club house in Vero Beach. 10am-12pm

Fee $21 in advance

This month we are making cards from the Watercolor Winter Card making kit. You will be making all of these cards.  Limited room available so let me know asap if you can take this fun class.

Dec 15th - Project Life Class

I don't know about you but I am so behind in my scrap booking.  I have to undo the 60-70-80's books I put in the album with the little black photo corners in it.

I make projects to show my customers but I want to really start to work on my kids books in the New Year. Yes that is my New Year's resolution (I know it is early)  So with that in mind I am crazy about Project Life/Stampin' UP!  It is so easy and quick. I love quick.  Have you seen the adorable 6x8 album in the Stampin' UP! Holiday Supplement? You will love the colors.

I saw on line that someone used the polka dot stencil and made it so cute.  I stenciled mine this past weekend at the Salvation Army Crop and love it.  I will be adding some other accessories to it soon.

Starting in Dec I will offer a class each month where we will make 6x8 or 12x12 pages depending on what everyone wants to make. The great part about Project Life Photo Pocket Pages work just as well for both 6x8 & 12x12.

I challenge you to pull those pictures out of your shoe boxes (from the bottom of the closet you know they are there) and start sorting and let the fun begin.

Project Life Class - Dec 15th - 1pm

class fee is $20 (includes a package of 6x8 pocket pages)

RSVP  before Dec 1st so I can order your pocket pages!

Contact me today to reserve your space. (I will give you directions then)

Bring pictures, paper cutter, ink and I will have my cardstock scraps available for you.

Thanks for stopping by!

August Features: Daffodil Delight and Black and White~ PROGRESSIVE ON BOARD JOURNAL

In August I will be featuring the new Daffodil Delight (yellow) and black and white in my classes and my workshop/parties. You can choose one from these three cards for your friends to make at your party. So book today and get on my calendar so we can have fun with your friends.
Journal Class coming in August
Ever since I saw this journal in our Stampin' Success magazine that demonstrators get from Stampin UP each month I had to make one and I love it.
PROGRESSIVE ON BOARD JOURNAL

Below is a project I am offering. I am looking for 4 or more people that love to make homemade journals. We each start out with this plain On Board Journal on page 185 from the current Stampin UP Catalog (this will be my journal) The rules are that you have to use Stampin UP current products and you will buy them from me (there is no other class charges in this event) I will place my order for the journals on August 10th so I will need your money $11.26 for the journal that is with shipping and tax added, don't forget any other supplies you may need)

When you get your journal decide on a theme ie gardening, children, etc for me I chose to use the daffodile delight and basic black as my theme through out. You decorate the front cover of the book and the front page using your theme then we all meet at a restaurant, have dinner and exchange journals. You will continue with the theme that the stamper that gave you the journal, you will stamp and glue fun SU designer papers and stamp the theme in their book on the next 2 double pages. We will meet each month until we have all had a turn to create in all the journals. So when we finish we will each have 2 double pages from each person and after that if you want to continue we can.

I know this will be a lot of fun and I can't wait to see what themes you come up with. Please contact me by Aug 10 to let me know if you are up to this fun project.
